The conversion of from Ms Excel to MYSQL can be done easily with Excel MySQL Conversion software. It works both ways to convert Excel to MYSQL and vice versa. It can be used easily and the process takes place step by step.
The software takes a little time to download and the installation is done with ease. It opens up with a screen showing the options for converting directly, indirectly and convert from MYSQL to Excel file. While converting from excel to MYSQL you would be required to fill some information. Set the host, user name, password and port number. Browse and select the file for the conversion, connect to MYSQL server and press next. You can check to remember the connection by putting a name to it and choose it from preset connection the next time. Select from the available worksheets for the conversion that are shown in the selected worksheets column. You can select the columns all together or by checking them. When the conversion is direct then you can select the new Mysql database or convert into an existing one. Click convert and the two bars below show the progress and the data loading level. In the indirect conversion you have to mention the MYSQL database name and the destination PHP script. You can enable the option to append to the target database if it exists and to the target table if it exists. Click on converting option and the progress bars are the same. For the schedule conversion you have to enter the task name, log file destination and select the task properties. Click ok and done. Like wise the process for Mysql to Excel conversion goes step by step. With the same first step you can choose the same connection through the preset connections. Rest options are the same till conversion, here you can create a new excel file or append to an existing one. Almost all the steps are the same leaving a few options.
The conversion is done with ease and overall we give the software a good 3 star rating for its capacity of making seamless transitions. It’s a good utility to have in case you are a frequent user of spreadsheets and databases.
